Our Clubhouse - a place to unwind!
To many golfers, Welwyn Garden City Golf Club has become well known for its very friendly, sociable and welcoming atmosphere to members and visitors alike. Our bars offer a place to relax and discuss the issues of the day with a drink and snack of your choice, and are also the venue for the majority of our social events.

The Lounge Bar is an area to unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Sports Bar shows the latest live sport on satellite tv, for all the best football, golf and other sports action.

There are few things better than sitting on our patio overlooking the course. It provides a wonderful panorama.

We offer member food nights on Wednesday evenings during the golfing season, and Friday evenings once or twice a month, giving members the chance to sample the wide variety of fine cuisine at an affordable price.

The Spike Bar offers the opportunity to grab a bite or a drink straight from the course for those in between rounds or who can’t wait to change shoes before getting a drink.

Food is served in the bar daily, with a set menu and daily specials available.

Meetings

Our meeting room has a panoramic view over the course to allow for a relaxed and professional space for all types of meetings. The room can be set up in a variety of styles to allow for presentations with use of our screen and projector. Tea/coffee and catering can all be incorporated into the room.

Functions

Our dining room can cater for all types of functions from buffets and afternoon tea to gourmet dinners. The chef prides herself on delivering freshly cooked and prepared modern cuisine and works closely with all guests to provide tailor made menus.

Weddings

Our functions room is the ideal place for a wedding with its characteristic views across the golf course and balcony area for enjoying the fresh air. Here we allow the wedding couple to tailor make their own style of catering from a buffet, BBQ or full sit down meal.

Snooker Room
Many members while away the hours during the winter, or poor weather, on the excellent snooker table at the club. Many social members join the club just to use the snooker table (and the bar), and to play in the teams that compete in the local leagues.
