Playing Membership
Welwyn Garden City Golf Club has a combination of tee times and times for roll up when no tee booking is required. These are at set times during the week. There are many swindles and social groups who play on each day of the week, meaning there will regularly be someone happy to welcome new members to join them for a round.
Adult members can choose from full or 5-day membership, with reduced prices for young adults under 30 years of age, and concessions for Country (living more than 50 miles from the Club), Overseas (living abroad for most of the year), and Junior memberships.
We have committees that organise golf and social activities for all sections of the club, offering plenty to get involved with if that is what you are looking for.
We have a courtesy arrangement with five other clubs, giving the opportunity to play other courses free of charge. These clubs are Knebworth, Crews Hill, Mill Hill and Harewood Downs locally, and Droitwich a little further away. We also have a reciprocal arrangement with 11 other local members' clubs, offering reduced green fees during the week. Included within your membership fee is the Herts Golf National Passport card, offering reduced price golf at over 1300 clubs nationally.
If you would like know more about playing membership, please use the contact us form under the contact heading.
You do not need to be introduced by anyone to become a member, and we welcome applications from golfers of all ages and handicaps – or those currently without a handicap, so either pop into the Club to fill in an application form, or download one from the link below. We would be happy to meet you in the comfortable clubhouse to show you around.
There is currently no joining fee, so why not fill in the form today?
